Application Process

Applicants must follow a series of steps to submit a grant application to the Claneil Foundation:

1. Submit a Letter of Intent (for Small Grant requests from organizations that have not received funding in the past three years and for all Large Grant requests).  If your organization is applying for a small grant and has received funding in the past three years, you may complete a Small Grant application without submitting a Letter of Intent. 
2. If your Letter of Intent results in an invitation to submit a proposal, you may Download an Application from this site.
3. Prepare your application using the Proposal Document Checklist.
4. Submit Your Application and full proposal by U.S. mail. We do not accept email submissions.
5. Await Grant Decisions following the board meetings for each cycle.
