Grant Programs
Organizations can apply for:
Small Grants. These grants are generally in amounts between $5,000 and $15,000 per year. These grants are available for program and project support, as well as for general operating expenses. A Letter of Intent (no longer than 2 pages) is required for organizations that have not received funding within the past three years.
Large Grants. These grants are by invitation only; therefore, a Letter of Intent (no longer than 2 pages) is always required. Through its large grant program, the Foundation supports organizations or projects that take innovative approaches to addressing enduring problems in the Foundation's large grant focus areas: Education, Environment, Hunger/Nutrition & Food System and Access to Health Services. Large grants range between $20,000 and $50,000. Multi-year requests are not considered in this category. Please include the amount and purpose of the funds requested in the Letter of Intent.
Although organizations may submit an application for large and small grants in the same year, the Foundation does not accept multiple applications in the same funding cycle.
