Mission: Inner City Green Team focuses on poverty alleviation and community development. Its mission is to help protect the environment and transform the lives of New York City public housing residents through improved recycling, organics collection, education, job training, and paid work that can lead to a lifetime of employment and civic engagement. Inner City Green Team is working to create an effective, replicable and sustainable recycling and composting infrastructure in public housing with job creation and community revitalization at its core.
