"The cookbook is a resource guide that provides more than recipes. It also features comprehensive sections on food recovery and food storage."

Critical Issue Fund grantee organization Campus Kitchens Project has published The Campus Kitchen Cookbook: A Best Practice Guide for Using Food Donations.  Created with Claneil Foundation support, the cookbook is a resource guide that provides more than recipes. It also features comprehensive sections on food recovery and food storage aimed at volunteers who want to start or participate in a Campus Kitchen program. This national organization partners with high schools, colleges and universities to share on-campus kitchen space, recover food from cafeterias, and engage students as volunteers who prepare and deliver meals to the community. The program is currently running at over 60 schools around the country.
